To me, this drawing represents the fear and the weight of being chased and the freeze response, someone whose legs have given out, and the earth below them vibrates in panic.
I also thought briefly how the male gaze might interpret her position as provocative, when her body position is only natural given her situation. I leave the rest up for contemplation and interpretation.
